Saffron and Cardamom Tea

Saffron and Cardamom Tea
Ingredients:
  • 3–4 saffron threads
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black tea leaves or 1 tea bag (optional for stronger flavor)

 

Instructions:
  1. Boil the water: Bring water to a boil in a pot.
  2. Add saffron and cardamom: Add the saffron threads and crushed cardamom pods. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the color deepens.
  3. Optional black tea: Add black tea leaves or a tea bag for a stronger, richer tea and simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
  4. Sweeten and serve: Remove from heat, strain into a cup, add honey or sugar to taste, and serve warm.
