Ingredients:
- 3–4 saffron threads
- 2 cups water
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- 1 slice of lemon (optional)
Instructions:
- Boil the water: Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add saffron and ginger: Add the saffron threads and ginger slices. Simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Sweeten and garnish: Remove from heat, add honey or sugar, and stir. Garnish with a slice of lemon if desired.
- Serve: Strain the tea into cups and enjoy the warming, spicy tea.
